Hi I’m Sophie-Elise and I’m so excited to be taking this brow journey with you. I am a semi-permanent makeup artist based in Magor, covering Newport, Cardiff, Chepstow and Bristol.

I started off working on the make up counter Benefit - Benefit were different from other companies in the fact that they LOVED a brow and focused on these in their make up lessons and on their brow bars so my love for a good brow started early on.

I then went on to work in Harrods and Selfridges working for luxury brands such as Dior, trained with Daniel Sandler and even worked backstage for their fashion shows. This experience taught me so much about facial structure, trends and so much more. The one thing I always noticed was brows and how makeup could create the perfect brow and how this would change someone’s whole face.

I then hung up my make up brushes for a different life of chasing the corporate dream and also being a mum (one of these bringing me so much joy, one less so) but I always knew my heart belonged to beauty- I just couldn’t figure out a way to make it work for me/my lifestyle.

Until now, when on maternity leave my real passion for beauty was ignited and I began Beauty by Sophie- Elise. It has been such a rewarding experience (not without its challenges) but I am now so excited to include you in my journey…

I recently had my eyebrows micro bladed by Sophie. Microblading is a god send for me as I have no eyebrows at all, and Sophie created the perfect colour and shape.

Also, I did not feel a thing, I asked her if she’d started and she’d completed one eye! I couldn’t believe it. The best 2 hours I’ve spent recently.
